Many service members don't realize they are allowed to obtain civilian counsel to represent them. There is powerful advantage to having experienced counsel on your side, especially a lawyer like Brad Hornsby, who served as a military prosecutor before beginning his practice with the firm of Bulloch, Fly, Hornsby & Evans.

About Brad Hornsby

Military law attorney Brad Hornsby has a long and distinguished background serving his country, including service as an officer in the Judge Advocate General (JAG) Corps of the U.S. Air Force. He served as Circuit Defense Counsel (CDC) at Travis Air Force Base, representing thousands of individuals in courts-martial proceedings, Article 15 actions, discharge proceedings and other actions. Mr. Hornsby is a frequent speaker at legal seminars about the Servicemembers' Civil Relief Act (formerly known as the Soldiers' and Sailors' Civil Relief Act) and the Uniform Code of Military Justice.

Today he maintains his devotion to those who serve and their family members, providing pro bono representation in cases of need. Mr. Hornsby is licensed to practice law in the state of Tennessee, the Middle and Eastern District Courts of Tennessee, the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Court of Appeals for the Armed Services. Upon his retirement as a lieutenant colonel in 2007, he was the most experienced and successful court-martial practitioner in the Air Force, teaching at seminars to younger attorneys and representing clients in fully litigated criminal trials.

At all times, our goal is to protect the rights that you protect for the rest of us. We know the importance to your career of discretion and keeping a lid on family details. We know how serious it is to be charged with a serious offense.
