Barbara M. Penland-LaFevers joined Bulloch, Fly, Hornsby & Evans in February of 2017 as an associate attorney. Prior to joining the firm, she served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Robert E. Corlew, III, Chancellor for the 16th Judicial District.
Barbara was born and raised in Middle Tennessee and Central Florida. She received her Bachelor of Science degree, cum laude,
from Tennessee Tech University where she was selected as a Collegiate All-American Scholar, recognized for excellent academic efforts within Criminal Justice and received a Certificate of Completion within the Field of Criminal Justice. Barbara attained her Jurls
Doctorate, from the Nashville School of Law In Nashville. Tennessee, where she was the Class of 2008 Honor Council Representative, a member of Nashville School of Law Legal Society and the Tennessee Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
Barbara Is a member of the Coffee, Rutherford and Cannon County Bar Associations. She Is licensed to practice before the United
States District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee, all State Courts in Tennessee and the United States Supreme Court. Published Works
